    2. Accident/Incident Records Request
      • Records of traffic accidents, offenses, or other incidents are free to all involved parties. If you are not a party to the incident or their insurance company, please use our Public Records FOIA Request Form.
      • There is a $5.00 fee for insurance companies and a $5.00 fee for data containing photographs, audio, or video. To process an insurance request payment must be made in advance to BCSO 1650 Aviation Dr. Hailey, ID 83333 Attention: Records.
      • Reports cannot be released until all investigations and adjudication are completed. 
      • Idaho Law provides three (3) to ten (10) business days to respond to your request excluding mail time. Business Days are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m, excluding holidays.
      • Certain personally identifying information will be redacted per Idaho Code.

    7. Provide a description of the specific incident including the full names of the individuals involved, date and location of the incident, date of birth if known, and any other pertinent information that will identify the correct record you are requesting.
